There are a large number of 4*4 vehicles in the market with different price ranges, features and exteriors. Now these vehicles are available in all forms and models, to accommodate the choice of customers. The four-wheel drive is more of fashion now, rather than a necessity. These days’ four-wheel drives are not only confined to farmers or countrymen. It is a way of lifestyle, and many consider it incomplete without a hovering and daunting four-wheel drive. These vehicles are used in some famous sports such as desert racing and mud bogging.

Different 4*4 vehicles offer different features. Some are known for towing capacity, others for their high-end performance and then others for their durability. However, what’s important to keep in mind is the maintenance of these useful machines. One of the essential components for their smooth functioning is the tire chain. They are extremely helpful especially in the cold weather and help keep balance of the heavy machine. The importance of chains, for the smooth drive in snowy weather, is often neglected. These chains help keep balance of your huge vehicles, which, if lost, can be disastrous. However, chains should not be used while mud bogging, because if they break, pieces of metal will fly all over. This can cause harm to you, as well as your vehicle.
